Danbo International College was founded as a preparatory school in 1981. The major step of expanding into Secondary sector was taken in 1992. From these small beginnings the school has grown in all departments, from crèche to secondary on the way to Danbo Sixth Form College.

Danbo International College is a co-educational School for boys and girls with modern boarding facilities. The school is a place of outstanding opportunity. Students excel academically in a friendly, caring environment.

The aim of Danbo International College is to enable every Child to realize their full potential academically, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Through participation in various aspects of the day to day running of the school, the students become organizationally efficient and adapt interpersonal and team skills

Two thirds of the boys and girls aged 10-18yrs are boarders. This provides and enriching diversity of background experience. This coupled with a supportive program of pastoral care ensures that every student has greater opportunities than ever before for achievements in all walks of life. In addition, to facilitate access to such opportunities requires excellent academic grounding.

At Danbo International College a wide range of subject choices is available. This is guided but not limited by the National Curriculum and are taught by highly dedicated and qualified staff. All leavers of Danbo International College go on to universities at home Nigeria and abroad and some securing full scholarship to further their education in universities all over the world.
